Navy recovers an illegal fishing net in Verugal

Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered an illegal fishing net during a search carried out in the sea area of Verugal in Trincomalee yesterday (10^th March). The fishing net which is about 180 feet in length was handed over to the Fisheries Inspector of Muttur for onward action.
