Nearly all species of turtle that were once found in abundance in oceans around the world are classified as endangered sea animals in recent times.

A troop of Naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command apprehended two persons who engaged in illegal fishing with explosive along with 1233 kg of their fish catch, during a raid carried out in Valaikadu area, yesterday (09^th March).
