Navy stall at ‘CENEX’ education exhibition of Anuradhapura Central College attracts crowds

‘CENEX’ 2019, the education exhibition organized by the Anuradhapura Central College was held at the college premises from 06th to 08th March on successful note. The prime motive of the exhibition was to gear the school going children in a better way, enabling them to explore to the fast-changing world with a lot of confidence.

The exhibition also saw a stall put up by the Navy displaying their rich naval traditions and grandeur. Accordingly, the spectators could catch the glimpse of the models of ships and craft as well as uniforms, ranks, naval missions etc. that are unique to the sea going arm. The exhibition comprised 108 stalled presented by Sri Lanka Army, state agencies and school children who produced their wide range of exhibitors.

The Chief Guest of the opening day was DIG North Central Province, Mr. LPCP Handungahawatta. The exhibition which was an eye-opener for the children as how to step into the contemporary world without uprooting their values was also attended by principals and teachers of the North Central Area and a large number of people.
