Chinese Ambassador in Sri Lanka meets Commander North Central Naval Area

A delegation headed by the Ambassador for People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka HE Cheng Xueyuan visited North Central Naval Command Headquarters, yesterday (06^th March). Upon the arrival, the Ambassador was accorded a Guard of Honour in compliance with naval traditions and warmly received by Commander North Central Naval Area Rear Admiral Muditha Gamage.

Thereafter, they held cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest and mementos were also exchanged to mark the event. The Ambassador and the delegation also paid a tour on to Talaimannar jetty, the lighthouse and Sand Banks famously called as Adam’s Bridge.
