1.7 kg of Kerala cannabis recovered with Navy’s assistance

Following information provided by SL Navy, Puttalam Police in coordination with the Narcotic Division, recovered 1.7 kg of Kerala Cannabis at Karamba Periathivu arera in Puttalam around 10.30 pm yesterday (06^th March).

Accordingly, the cab which was transferring this haul of KG, had been left alone aside a road at Karamba Periathivu arera and suspects had escaped. Puttalam Police is conducting further investigation into the matter.
