Navy recovers banned fishing nets in Ullackalie lagoon area

A group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command recovered a few banned fishing nets during a patrol carried out in Ullackalie lagoon area, this morning (05^th March).

Accordingly, fifteen (15) banned nets, each was about 150 feet in length, were recovered and they were handed over to the Assistant Directorate of Fisheries in Muttur for onward action.
