Captain Nalin Nawarathna takes over command of SLNS Sindurala

Captain Nalin Nawarathna assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel SLNS Sindurala, today (21^st February).

The command of the ship was officially handed over to the new Commanding Officer by the former Commanding Officer Captain Udaya Kumarasinghe at the Colombo harbour premises.

Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge also attended the event. The handing over-Taking over process was concluded with the inspection of divisions of ship’s crew by the new Commanding Officer.
