Navy recovers banned fishing nets around Pallikuda area

A troop of naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command, recovered a number of banned fishing nets during a foot patrol carried out in Pallikuda area, yesterday (18^th February).

Accordingly, 02 numbers of 1500m long illegal nets and another net 1000m in length, were recovered and this lot was handed over Fisheries Inspector's office in Pooneryn for onward legal action.
