Captain Kosala Warnakulasooriya assumes charge as Commanding Officer of SLNS Sayura

Captain (H) Kosala Warnakulasooriya assumed charge as the new Commanding Officer (CO) of the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) SLNS Sayura today (18^th February).

Accordingly, the outgoing CO of the vessel, Captain (G) Chaminda Nawarathna formally handed over the duties to the ship’s new Commanding Officer at SLNS Rangalla in Colombo. Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the ceremony concluded following an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
