Illegal fishing nets cast in Ullackalie lagoon taken into naval custody

A team of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command took into custody 07 illegal nylon fishing nets (150 feet each) cast in the Ullackalie lagoon area yesterday (17^th February).

The seized fishing nets were handed over to the Assistant Director of Fisheries in Muttur for onward legal action.
