Navy apprehends two persons for illegal transportation of cattle

A troop of Naval personnel attached to the North Western Naval Command apprehended two persons who were transferring a cow and a calf on a Dimo Batta lorry covering it with blue polythene, on the road in front of the main gate of SLNS Barana, yesterday (15^th February 2019).

The suspects, cattle and the lorry were handed over to Silawathura Police for onward legal action.
