Winners of Thilina Malla’ receive lucrative prizes

The ceremony to award prizes of the Regular Naval Benevolent Fund (RNBF) and the Volunteer Naval Benevolent Fund (VNBF) Raffle Draw, ‘Thilina Malla’ was held at the Admiral Somathilake Disanayake auditorium, SLNS Parakrama yesterday (15^th February) under the patronage of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva.

During the event, 06 cash prizes worth 5 lakh each, 20 laptop computers, 07 two door refrigerators, 17 LED TVs (32 inch), 17 washing machines, 20 tablet computers, 17 home theatre systems and 24 smart phones were awarded to both the RNBF and VNBF raffle draw winners.

Naval personnel who maintain accounts in the RNBF and VNBF were eligible for the raffle draw which offered a wide range of exciting prizes for the winners. The Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, Director Generals, senior naval officers, the winners and their family members were present on the occasion.
