Navy held 02 fishers for illegal fishing without passes

Two persons who engaged in illegal fishing without passes were apprehended by naval personnel attached to North Western Naval Command, at Kudiramalai sea area on 15^th Feb 2019.

While apprehension, twenty kgs of nets used to catch crabs, 03 kg of crabs harvest and a dinghy were also taken into naval custody and subsequently they were handed over to the office of the Assistant Fisheries Inspector-Puttalam for onward legal action.
