Ex Navy personnel resided in Jaffna area meet Commander of the Navy
 

A group of retired Navy personnel resided in Jaffna area met Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva who was on a two day (8 & 9 February) visit to the Northern Naval Command, at the Navy House in SLNS Uthtara, today (9^th February).

During the cordial gathering, the ex navy personnel extended their best wishes to Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva for his appointment as the 23rd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. To signify this occasion, ex navy personnel were also presented with gifts by the Commander of the Navy. The spouses of ex navy personnel, Commander Northern Naval Area Rear Admiral Meril Wickramasinghe, Deputy Area Commander NNA Commodore Nilantha Heenatigala and Command Land Operations Officer (North) & Public Relations Officer (North) Commander Sanjeewa Kodikara were also present on this occasion.
