Commander of the Navy calls on Speaker of the Parliament
 

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva called on Speaker of the Parliament, Hon. Karu Jayasuriya at his office in the Parliamentary premises today (07th February).

The Speaker conveyed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Silva on his new appointment during the cordial discussions held. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the Navy Commander’s first official meeting with the Speaker after assuming office.
