Navy assists apprehension of a suspect with 86.4kg of Kerala cannabis
 

Based on information provided by the Navy, officials of the Point Pedro Police apprehended a suspect with 86kg and 400g of Kerala cannabis in the general area of Imbasiddi, Point Pedro today (28^th January). The stock of cannabis has been concealed in the roof of a house in Viyaparamullai, Point Pedro, when it was recovered.

The suspect is a person aged 50 years and further investigation on the person apprehended with the haul of KG, is being conducted by Point Pedro Police.

During last three weeks, over 509 kgs of Kerala Cannabis have been apprehended by the raids conducted by SL Navy and further operations are being carried out all over the country by the Navy in search of illegal drug smuggling.
