Navy apprehends two persons with 2kg of Kerala cannabis
 

A group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command, in coordination with Mannar Police apprehended two suspects with 2kg of Kerala Cannabis, during a raid carried out in Mannar town yesterday (25^th January). The arrest was made while the suspects were transferring the stock of cannabis by a van, for sale.

The apprehended suspects,van and the haul of Cannabis were handed over to Manner Police for onward legal action.

Even up to date in this year, Sri Lanka Navy has apprehended more than 300 kgs of KG and Navy continues with further raids in the effort of eliminating the drug menace over the island.
