Commander Southern Naval Area meets with Governor of Southern Province
 

Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera met with the Governor of Southern Province, Hon. Keerthi Thennakoon at his office yesterday (21^st January).

Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera expressed his best wishes to Hon. Keerthi Thennakoon who was sworn in as the Governor of Southern Province. Subsequently, they held a cordial discussion during which Commander Southern Naval Area briefed the incumbent Governor about the Navy’s role in strengthening security in the area. Signifying this occasion, Rear Admiral Samaraweera presented a memento to the Hon. Governor as well.
