Suspect nabbed with 2kg of Kerala cannabis
 

On receipt of information to the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command, during a raid, apprehended a suspect with 2kg of Kerala cannabis at Palaviya in Puttalam yesterday (16^th January). The arrest was made while the suspect was transferring the stock of cannabis by a three-wheeler, for sale.

The apprehended suspect along with the three-wheeler and the stock of cannabis was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Bureau in Puttalam for onward legal action.
