Australian High Commissioner calls on Commander of the Navy
 

The Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Bryce Hutchesson called on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters today (14^th January). During the meeting, His Excellency Hutchesson congratulated Vice Admiral Silva for being appointed as the 23rd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.

Subsequently, they held a cordial discussion on issues of mutual interest and bilateral importance. Mementos were also exchanged symbolizing the goodwill and the friendship of the two countries. The Defence Adviser of the Australian High Commission, Group Captain Sean Unwin was also present on this occasion.
