Navy arrests resort owner with 5kg of venison
 

Based on information received by the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command in coordination with the officials of Department of Wildlife Conservation – Hambantota conducted a search and managed to find 5kg of venison from a resort in Mirijjawila, Hambantota yesterday (10^th January).

The resort owner was taken into naval custody and handed over to the Department of Wildlife Conservation – Hambantota, along with venison, for onward investigation.
