Navy assists removal of office supplies from inundated Divisional Secretariat Kandawalai
 

Sri Lanka Navy continues to extend its relief and rescue missions in the Mullaitivu and Killnochchi districts in a bid to assist community being battered by inclement weather prevailing in the Northern Province. The Navy has currently deployed 06 relief teams in these areas for the rescue of helpless residents.

Meanwhile, a Navy relief team today (23^rd December) rendered assistance to remove office supplies and peripherals from the inundated Divisional Secretariat of Kandawalai in the Kilinochchi district with the help of the staff of Divisional Secretariat. The prompt assistance rendered by the Navy in this emergency situation was profoundly appreciated by the Divisional Secretariat as well.
