Commanding Officer of USS ‘Rushmore’ calls on Commander Western Naval Area
A group of officers headed by Commander RC Tryan, the Commanding Officer of the US Naval vessel ‘Rushmore’ which arrived in the island on 21st December, called on Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Western Naval Headquarters yesterday (22nd December).
They held a cordial discussion on a range of matters of bilateral importance and exchanged mementoes to mark the significance of this occasion.
