SLN exhibitors at Techno Sri Lanka 2018 receive cash prizes
The ‘Techno Sri Lanka 2018’ exhibition was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) from 12th to 14th October 2018, under the patronage of the Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, Hon.Patali Champika Ranawaka.
The stall of the Sri Lanka Navy took the centre stage in the exhibition and the honorable minister, the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and those who witnessed it made impressive remarks on the items that were on display. The IESL also awarded a special award in appreciation of the Navy stall.
Meanwhile, arrangements had been made by the Navy to provide cash prizes for the SLN exhibitors, in recognition of their efforts. Accordingly, following teams received cash incentives during a ceremony presided over by the Navy Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters on 18th December.
