Inter Command Drill Competition held in Poonewa
 

Sri Lanka Navy Inter Command Drill Competition was held at the main parade ground of SLNS Shiksha in Poonewa on 13^th December 2018. The closing ceremony of the competition which was conducted for the 8^th time was graced by Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Muditha Gamage, as the Chief Guest.

Nine drill-platoons representing all naval commands took part in the competition in which Southern Naval Command emerged as champion. Northern Naval Command was adjudged the runners-up in the event. Lieutenant DJKS Siriwardena from Northern Naval Command won the trophy for the ‘Officer with Best Power of Command’. The occasion was also attended by a large number of officers and sailors.
