SLN Inter-command Boxing Tournament 2018
 

The Inter-command Boxing Tournament 2018 of the Sri Lanka Navy was held at the Eastern Naval Command in Trincomalee from 27^th to 30^th November. Hundred and seventy one (171) boxers representing all naval commands headed into this year’s tournament which was ultimately won by the Eastern Naval Command. Ordinary Seaman DP Priyantha was adjudged the Best Boxer and Ordinary Seaman RGUS Rupassara became the Best Loser in the tournament.

The awards ceremony of the Inter-command Boxing Tournament 2018 was held on 30^th November and it was graced by Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe, as the Chef Guest. Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge, Deputy Area Commander Eastern Naval Area, Commodore Noel Kalubowila and a host of senior officers were also present on this occasion.
