Northern Naval Command conducts a Blood Donation Campaign
In concurrent with the 68th Navy Day, Sri Lanka Navy conducted a blood donation at the Northern Naval Command hospital, on 29th November.
Accordingly, under the guidance of Commander Northern Naval Command Rear Admiral Meril Wickramasinghe this meritorious service was carried out in coordination with the medical staff of the blood bank, Teaching Hospital Jaffna. One hundred and forty one (141) naval personnel attached to the ships, craft and establishments in Northern Naval Command voluntarily present at the blood donation programme.
This campaign organized for the third time this year in view of securing the lives of the patients in Northern Province, was well assisted by doctor pradeepan and the staff of Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
