Navy Public Speaking Competition-2018
The Public Speaking Competition-2018 of Sri Lanka Navy, organized by the Naval Research Wing for the third consecutive year, was held at Admiral Somathilaka Dissanayake Auditorium in Naval Headquarters, yesterday (30 December).
The competition was conducted under two categories as senior and junior. Cash prizes for the winners of first, second and third places of both categories were Rs 100000/=, 75000/= and 50000/=. The winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe and the Chief of Staff Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva.

Deputy Director British Council Mr Duncan Mothersil and Professional Training Coordinator of British Council Mrs Lucy Nicholls appeared in the panel of judges and Director Generals, Senior Officers, large number of officers and sailors were present on the occasion.
