SLNS ‘Shiksha’ proudly celebrates its 13th anniversary
 

The 13^th anniversary of Sri Lanka Navy Ship (SLNS) ‘Shiksha’ fell on 18^th November this year. In view of the anniversary celebrations, wide ranging programmes including religious events were conducted by the crew of the establishment, under the guidance of its Commanding Officer, Captain (H) Asoka Wijesiriwardane.

Accordingly, the inspection of divisions was presided over by the Commanding Officer, giving prominence to rich naval traditions and it was followed by the customary partaking of ‘Barakana’ with the participation of all officers and sailors attached to the establishment.
