Navy fire-fighters rush into extinguish fire broke out at building in Colombo
Sri Lanka Navy fire-fighters rendered assistance to douse a fire broke out at a multi-storeyed commercial building in Kumara Vidiya, Colombo Fort yesterday (16th November). After being notified of a fire broke out at a building in the main business centre of Colombo, a fire-fighting team attached to the Western Naval Command was rushed to the location by the Navy.
The Navy fire-fighting team which included 12 naval personnel and 02 water bowsers, made strenuous effort and managed to extinguish the flames raging out of control inside the building.
