Commander of the Navy calls on the Secretary of Defence
 

The Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe called on the Secretary of Defence Mr. Hemasiri Fernando at the Ministry of Defence, today (13^th November).

At the call on, Commander of the Navy congratulated the Secretary of Defence on his new appointment and briefed him about the role and the responsibilities of Sri Lanka Navy. Mementos were also exchanged signifying the Commander of navy’s first meeting with the new Secretary of Defence.
