Inter-command Table Tennis Tournament-2018 held in Boossa
 

The Sri Lanka Navy Inter-command Table Tennis Tournament-2018 worked off at the indoor stadium of SLNS Nipuna in Boossa from 06^th to 09^th November. A number of table tennis players from all naval commands represented this year’s tournament in which both men’s and women’s championships were won by the Western Naval Command. Meanwhile, the men’s team of the Afloat Command and the women’s team of the Eastern Naval Command clinched the runner-up positions in the tournament. Captain Sisira Dissanayake of the Northwestern Naval Command was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

 Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera graced the tournament as the Chief Guest. Deputy Area Commander of Southern Naval Area, Commodore Ranjith Premarathna and a large number of senior officers and sailors attached to the Southern Naval Area were also present on this occasion.
