Navy General Hospital recognized at Presidential Environmental Awards 2018
 

The Presidential Environmental Awards 2018 organized by the Central Environmental Authority was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall on 19th October 2018, under the patronage of the President His Excellency Maithripala Sirisena.

The Presidential Environment Awards programme has been mooted to reward the individuals, institutions, organizations, environmental journalists and industrial activities which have made unique contribution to the field of environmental conservation and protection.

The Navy General Hospital won the Bronze Award at the Presidential Environmental Awards 2018 for maintaining the hospital premises in accordance with an environmental friendly manner and high standards of green productivity. Representing the Sri Lanka Navy, the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Piyal De Silva was present on the occasion to receive the award.
