More high-ranking naval officers and officials of maritime agencies hold bilateral discussions with Commander of the Navy
Another group of high-ranking naval officers and officials of maritime agencies who attended the recently concluded the Galle Dialogue International Maritime Conference - 2018, met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe and held bilateral discussions yesterday (23rd October).
Accordingly, senior naval officers of the United States of America, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nigeria, Pakistan and the United Kingdom and maritime partners of Australia, France, India, Denmark and Madagascar called on the Sri Lanka Navy Chief and held cordial discussions on matters of mutual importance.
The foreign delegates also expressed their appreciation of the SLN’s initiative which has attracted many scholars and experts in naval and maritime affairs from around the world for exchange of views and discussions that aim at strengthening the regional maritime cooperation. Mementoes were also exchanged among them to signify the importance of these meetings.
