Naval war hero receives a house under the auspices of Ranaviru Seva Authority
 

The differently abled naval war hero, Able Seaman Rahula Kariyawasam who resides at Gonamulla in Akmeemana, Galle received a new house constructed under the auspices of the Ranaviru Seva Authority. The simple ceremony to handover the ownership of the house was presided over by the Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera today (13^th October).

The house has been constructed under the supervision of the Sri Lanka Navy and utilizing Navy’s manpower. Venerable Maha Sangha, the Deputy Director of the Ranaviru Seva Authority, Mr. Chandana Abeywardana, the Divisional Secretary of Akmeemana, Mrs. Nishadi Jagoda, naval personnel and residents of the area were also present on this occasion.
