Navy’s women weightlifters show their true colours at Defence Services Weightlifting Championship 2018
 

Sri Lanka Navy women weightlifting team emerged champions at the Defence Services Weightlifting Championship 2018 held at the indoor stadium of the University of Kelaniya, yesterday (12^th September). The award for the best female weightlifter was also won by Navy’s Women Able Seaman WCM Warnakulasooriya.

Director General Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Rear Admiral Upul Ekanayake graced the prize awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest. A number of officers and other ranks representing the tri-services were also present on this occasion.
