Navy triumph at Defense Services Wushu Championship
 

The Defense Services Wushu Championship 2018 was held at Army Cantonment in Panagoda yesterday (06^th September). The championship in which a large number of tri-service participation was seen was clinched by Navy boxers with a tally of 26 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 19 bronze medals.

The Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army, Major General Dampath Fernando graced the post-event presentation ceremony, as the Chief Guest. The President of Sri Lanka Navy Wushu Pool, Lieutenant Commander Mohomad Fizal and a number of officers and other ranks from the tri-services were also present on this occasion.
