Lieutenant Commander (ND) Mervyn Paulraj assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Ranavijaya
 

Lieutenant Commander (ND) Mervyn Paulraj assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM), SLNS Ranavijaya, today (03^rd September).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Lieutenant Commander (ND) Prasanna Cooray officially handed over the duties of the vessel to the new Commanding Officer at the jetty of SLNS Uththara in Kankasanthurei. The Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Ananda Guruge was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions of the new Commanding Officer.
