Lieutenant Commander (N) Rukman Weerasekara assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Ranagaja

Lieutenant Commander (N) Rukman Weerasekara assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM), SLNS Ranagaja, today (26th August).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Lieutenant Commander (H) Nuwan Hewahakmanage officially handed over the duties to the new Commanding Officer at the Nicholson Cove Jetty premises in Trincomalee. The Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Commodore Ananda Guruge was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
