Commander of the Navy delivers General Deshamanya Dennis Perera Memorial Oration
 

The annual General Deshamanya Dennis Perera Memorial Oration organized for the sixth time was held at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in Rathmalana on 11th August 2018. Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, Commander of the Navy delivered this year’s memorial oration on the topic of “Why a Navy?"

 This significant occasion was also attended by a host of senior officers from the tri-services, retired flag rank officers and a large number of distinguished invitees.
