SLNS Mihikatha proudly celebrates her 4th anniversary
 

SLNS Mihikatha, a Coastal Patrol Craft of Sri Lanka Navy proudly celebrated her 4th anniversary today (9th July).

Giving priority to the Naval traditions, a wide range of activities including religious events were conducted to mark the Ship’s Day by the crew of the ship, under the guidance of its Commanding Officer, Commander EMA Bandara and the Executive Officer, Lieutenant Commander SD Weerasinghe.

Accordingly, to shower blessings on the crew, a Boodhi Pooja was held at Gangarama temple in Magalle on 6th July. Meanwhile, on following day a family get together was organized at the Rumassala beach. During their happy hours, family members were entertained with fun-filled activities and games.

Besides, the inspection of divisions was held at the main parade ground of SLNS Dakshina in the presence of the Executive Officer, Lieutenant Commander Weerasinghe today and the day’s celebrations came to a close with the traditional meal partaking of Barakana.
