Northern Naval Command conducts field medical clinic at Nallinakapurum, newly ressetled Villege
 

As a part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s cooperate social responsibility project the Northern Naval Command conducted an another field medical clinic at the Naval community  water   distribution premises, Nallinakapurum village in Kankasanthurai on 07th July 2018  under the patronage of the Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe.

Newly resettled community is living in Mawadipurum and Nallinakkipuram village at Jaffna district benefited from this clinic.  Northern Naval Command conducted more than 25 field medical clinics and 08 joint clinics with Teaching Hospital Jaffna and Regional Director of Health Services, Jaffna in Jaffna peninsula including islands and many numbers of patients were benefited from this community health development project.

Screening of non-communicable diseases and treatment for chronic / acute diseases were given at primary health care level.  Field laboratory investigations and medicines free of charge at this clinic patient friendly convenient environment. State pharmaceutical cooperation and Triposha Lanka ltd. assisted to conduct this clinic providing medicines and nutritional supplements.
