The defence attaché of the Namibian Embassy in Sri Lanka, Air Commodore Paavo Elwin-Paul Kamanya paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters today (02nd July 2018).

Another 36 senior sailors of the Sri Lanka Navy were granted the interest free loan of five hundred thousand rupees (Rs.500,000/=) each, by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters, today (02 July 2018).

Sri Lanka Navy apprehended 33 persons engaged in illegal acts at several locations in the island during the past few days.

During a fitting ceremony held at the Naval Headquarters today (02nd July 2018), Sri Lanka Navy bade farewell to its Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro who completed 36 years of distinguished naval career.
