Captain Chandima Silva assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Suranimila
 

Captain (ASW) Chandima Silva today (29^th June) assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Missile Vessel SLNS Suranimila.

Accordingly, the former Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain (C) Asanga Ranasuriya officially handed over the duties to the new Commanding Officer aboard the ship at the jetty of Nicholson Cove. The Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Commodore Ananda Guruge was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions of the new Commanding Officer.
