SLNS Ranadheera celebrates its 22^nd anniversary
 

SLNS Ranadheera, one of the Fast Gun Boats (FGBs) of the Sri Lanka Navy, celebrated its 22^nd anniversary today (22 June 2018) giving prominence to several celebratory events organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander (N) Gayan Wickramasooriya. The Executive Officer, Lieutenant Gayan Gamage and the ship’s crew had organized a range of programmes to coincide with the anniversary celebrations.

Accordingly, the Commanding Officer inspected divisions, in compliance with naval traditions, at the parade ground of SLNS Ranglla today. The proceedings of the day concluded with the “Barakana”; the age old naval tradition of entire ship’s crew having meals together in friendly atmosphere.
