Navy steps up to douse fire erupted at clothing outlet in Galle
 

The firefighting team of Sri Lanka Navy stepped up to completely douse a fire erupted at a clothing outlet located at Dangedara in Galle yesterday (10 April 2018). After being alerted of the fire at the above location, the Navy promptly dispatched firefighting teams attached to the Southern Naval Command to control the blaze.

Accordingly, Navy firefighters in coordination with the firemen of Galle Municipal Council swiftly engaged in the dousing effort and successfully extinguished the fire that gutted the building.
