ENA organizes squash coaching camp in Trincomalee
 

Under the instruction of Commander Eastern Naval Area Rear, Admiral Niraja Attygalle, a two-day squash coaching camp organized by the Eastern Naval Area (ENA) was held at the squash court of the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) in Trincomalee on 03^rd and 04^th April 2018. This initiative worked out with the assistance of Chairman Sri Lanka Navy Squash, Captain Pradeep Rathnayake and SLN Squash Coach, Mr. Lal Wikramasinghe, had the intent of attracting young officers and sailors in the ENA that possesses the best court facilities in SLN.

Speaking on the occasion the Chairman Sri Lanka Navy Squash highlighted the importance of engaging in regular physical exercises for naval personnel and special benefits of playing a racket sport such as squash. During the coaching camp the participants learned basic squash techniques and the rules of the game. A large number of officers, sailors and under trainees of NMA participated in the programmme.
