Navy marks the first win in Security Services Rugby Tournament
 

Sri Lanka Navy secured an easy win over Sri Lanka Air Force at the first match of Security Services Rugby Tournament played at Colombo Race Course grounds yesterday (22nd March). The Navy team drowned the Air Force into a 32-13 score for their victory.

During their encounter, Officer Cadet SJS Gregory contributed with 02 tries while Able Seaman NK de Silva, Ordinary Seaman RPHL Maduranga, Ordinary Seaman AE Weerathunge and Ordinary Seaman DM Weerasinghe scored with 01 try each. In the second half, Ordinary Seaman DM Weerasinghe was able to convert a penalty into two goals.

The next match of the tournament, Sri Lanka Navy Vs Sri Lanka Army is scheduled to play on 27th March at Air Force ground Colombo.
