Commander Abewardena Bandara takes over command of SLNS Mihikata
 

Commander (H) Abewardena Bandara assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Fast Gun Goat, SLNS Mihikata, today (06^th March).

The command of the ship was officially handed over to the new Commanding Officer by the former Commanding Officer Commander Ranjith Walgampaya onboard SLNS Mihikatha.

The divisions of the ship which were mustered at the main parade ground of SLNS Dakshina, Galle were inspected by the new Commanding Officer and with that handing over-Taking over process was concluded. Representing Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Commander (C) Shylendra Jeewakarathna also attended the event.
