Northern Naval Command conducts field medical clinic in Mawadipuram
 

As part of Sri Lanka Navy’s Cooperate Social Responsibility projects, medical personnel of the Northern Naval Command conducted a field medical clinic in the newly resettled model village of Mawadipuram, Kankasanthurai yesterday (04 March).

The event that was held under the guidance of Commander Northern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe, turned out to be a very successful effort in which a large number of patients including newly resettled civilians living in Mawadipurum benefited.

Screening of chronic non communicable diseases, child health problems, oral/dental diseases, old age health problems, antenatal care, acute/chronic health diseases and women health care treatments were administered during the clinic. Meanwhile, State Pharmaceutical Cooperation and Thriposha Lanka Ltd. sponsored for the medicines and nutritional supplements.
